Take risks...

When we were young, we didn't even understand the meaning of risk. We just did ,we ate paint chips off the wall, we stuck our fingers wherever we wanted to, but as time passed and we grew older, we were taught the notion of risk by others around us. Soon enough, we stopped risking. We stayed confined within the box that was drawn around us by others and we accepted it.
What happened? On the one hand, when we were young, we just did without thinking of the consequences. On the other hand, when we got older, we stopped doing because we started thinking of the consequences. We don't have passion any more. Then we won't feel happy.

Why do we hesitate to take risks? How can we get back that trait of boldness we had as a child? It’s actually very simple.
1. Stop thinking of risk as just a one shot do or die situation.Instead, start thinking of risk as a journey of exploration. It’s not just about one shot. It’s about a journey, a journey we choose to embark on for the purpose of exploring a different path. Then we become more active to take action, we gain more fun, we would be surprised.
2. Don’t focus on consequences. If we find ourselves exploring in work, we'll find ourselves exploring in our social life, our personal life. As we keep on doing this, we realize the fact that there is no box drawn around us and that it was all in our head the entire time.
3. Be positive. When we begin to take little risks of exploration, we make ourselves bold enough to take those big risks that appear to be like  die situations from the outside, but we will smile on the inside because we know we can do it.

When we take more risks, we'll find that we gain freedom, we have everything. Just take risks. Just be happy.

  2. Hi,Prince Sunshine.
    I have negative thinking.
When I read your blog, I felt that I could overcome my risks.
Thinking risks as a journey of exploration is good idea.

Do you think if I accept your three sugessions, could I have positive thinking?

    1. We all need to be thankful for all the risks we meet. You can do more if you want to be more positive. Just believe in yourself, you can do it.
